Amy Winehouse tragically died and joined the 27 club earlier this year, almost instantly fans and the music world wanted to know what will happen to her back catalogue and to know if she was recording any songs before her untimely death.

The wait wasn’t long as the estate announced the ‘Lioness:Hidden Treasures’ which features an assortment of songs previously unreleased. The reggae dub cover of 60s song ‘Our Day Will Come’ was played on Radio 1 to promote the upcoming release of demos and rare songs from Amy’s Career. Listen to the cover below.

Personally, it is quite an interesting version and Amy’s vocals are perfectly suited to the backdrop. It was recorded back in 2002 during sessions for her debut ‘Frank’.
