Obviously not content with receiving all of the web traffic in the world, Facebook would like to capitalise on the music side of the web. Possibly to catch up and rival Myspace once more and put a nail in the losing teams coffin for all, who knows?
It is apparently going to offer a similar service to Spotify (swear I was typing this about Myspace a week ago). But maybe not so soon, and it perhaps won’t win everyone over. There is the natural suggestion this is a bad idea as it will cause people to be even less inclined to buy music. As the narrative goes. The other side will retorte in shrill voices that doesn’t matter, it is the concerts that matter to a band! They make little money of a record.
Yadda Yadda.
