Ray Wilson Announces New Studio Album – Song For A Friend

There are various things that artists use for inspiration for songs and music, however the incredibly personal basis for Ray Wilson’s new album is sincerely beautiful and melancholy. The former Genesis and Stiltskin singer’s fifth album is an ode to the unfortunate loss of his dear friend James Lewis combining soul baring storytelling with grief.

“The meaning of life is the journey: this album encapsulate the journey” state’s Wilson. He then elaborates: “This album was written to inspire. When you feel like giving in, when you feel you are losing the will to keep pushing or fighting. This was written to help you dig deep, and fight for joy and peace in your life”.
